sophsticated style at the sale price : Satin A-Line Dress with Unique V Bodice ~ 10 (Sk 3064)
I received this dress just about 4 days after ordering despite standard shipping prediction of about 15 days. It's a lovely subtle satin, a sophisticated style for an older tween, younger teen. I was disappointed in the bodice construction, the satin bodice has nothing holding it up except tension from the elasticized back, so i will likely put a tiny white stitch in to attach it to the organza drape shoulders. I would not view this as an $89 retail value, but it's okay for the sale price. I received on the same day an "Ocean Blue" full length gown from finebrandsshop through Amazon, that was less expensive and a superior quality product, but my daughter preferred this style. The size 10 was just above ankle length on my petite/slim 10 year old, so I would call it 'tea length' as opposed to full length. Overall I would say we're satisfied with the dress and it looks very nice (not overly shiny at all as the back view photo implied) and it has classic sophisticated lines. I had hoped to be 'wowed' by a dress that was originally $89 -- it's not a $90 dress. Had I not received a less expensive formal dress from another vendor through Amazon on the same day that was of superior quality, I would have rated this 4 stars, but having that stark comparison and considering the odd construction of the bodice, I view this as a 3 - 3.5
